Random Ingredients

Random Ingredients offers a unique product in that they’ll ship you an exciting package of ingredients that can be used to create a variety of different recipes.

I wanted to play off the idea of randomness in the design for their logo. I used four separate slots that could be interchangeably swapped out based on the ingredients in a package. Consistency across all the visual elements, type and iconography, gives everything a feeling of equal weight or value. The color palette is also inspired by tasty food. It's made up of savory reds, rich browns, and fresh greens… creating a tempting visual feast.
